It’s something many of us dream of, winning millions or even a couple of thousand pounds on the lottery.

However, a number of people in the UK are winners – but just don’t know it yet and are now being urged to check their tickets.

The National Lottery have more than £60 million pounds worth of unclaimed prizes, with tickets as far back as March 2020 still left to be claimed.

But time is running out with September deadlines looming for some, including one ticket worth nearly £58 million pounds.

One lucky Euromillions winner, who bought their ticket in South Ayrshire, won the jackpot of £57,869,670 back on March 17, 2020.

The winning numbers were: 5, 7, 8, 16, 20 with lucky stars 2, 12.

But the deadline for this life changing sum of money is looming, with September 13 being the cut off date to claim it.

Another Euromillions winner from March is also set to lose out on £1,000,000 after their match maker code was drawn.

The ticket, bought in Leeds, with the code MGKX92653 is set to expire on September 16, if the ticket holder doesn’t come forward.
