Beat The Chasers has been on every day this week as the new series comes as the newest offering from its original format.
The series is different from the 5pm version in that all The Chasers are on-screen at the same time.
Players are tasked with answering a run of questions to try and build up a prize fund before they take on the quizzers.
Tonight saw another batch of hopefuls step up at the podium and one contestant scored big time after bagging £100,000 in very tense circumstances.

The show was full of drama tonight as it turned out Paul Sinha knew not one, but two of the contestants this evening.
One player, Belle, had been a contestant on The Chase seven years ago and failed to win £40,000 in a solo Final Chase.
Paul noted there were two reasons why Belle had failed to win the jackpot, telling her: “My episode of series six, she’d have won 40,000.
“Seat two got his last question wrong and secondly, I was better than her in the Final Chase!”

Belle had a good run and decided to take on all five Chasers for £100,000 but soon fell behind after slipping up on one question.
After Belle was player James, who Paul knew from his stint on Mastermind but he didn’t manage to beat The Sinnerman and the other Chasers tonight.
As the series drew to a close, there was one more player up to have a stab at winning a big sum of money.
Jean told host Bradley Walsh she was a retired teacher and now worked as a magistrate as well as training her dog.
She decided to take on all five Chasers after reminding the host “you’re only on here once” and subsequently had the chance to win £100k.
Against all the odds, Jean pulled it off and won with just one second remaining on her clock.
Bradley couldn’t believe it and neither could those watching at home, with one writing on Twitter: “Bl**dy hell Jean. that was tense! 1 second to spare #BeatTheChasers.”BEAT THE CHASERS has taken the nation by storm this week as tea-time quiz show The Chase has been ramped up and given a second evening slot on ITV. This is the extraordinary moment a Chase contestant scooped the highest ever amount won by a solo player on the show.
Potter Judith won an incredible £70,000 all by herself after facing the Chaser in the final round after her team mates were knocked out.
After managing to win 20 steps, Judith managed to repeatedly push Jenny Ryan back.
The victory shocked host Bradley Walsh and Chaser Jenny, aka The Vixen.
“Extraordinary, £70,000, extraordinary,” Bradley said. “Highest figure ever won by a solo player, sensational.”
He raced over to hug Judith, adding: “I’ve never seen anything like it.”
Jenny then replied: “I’ve never done this before” before receiving a standing ovation.
Taking to Twitter during the episode, Jenny Ryan wrote: “I’ve been awaiting the broadcast of this episode. Judith is such a memorable contestant! #TheChase.”
Twitter erupted with praise for Judith after the episode was televised today (February 8).
One woman said: “One of the best final chases I have ever seen on #TheChase might have to watch it again on +1 in a minute.”
One Chase fan got caught up in the moment, saying: “Bit emotional about #Judith”.
Other Twitter users raved about Judith.
The Chase has been a quiz show broadcast on ITV since 2009.
Contestants play against a professional quizzer, known as the “chaser”, who attempts to prevent them from winning a cash prize.
The chasers are Mark Labbett, Shaun Wallace, Anne Hegerty, Paul Sinha and Jenny Ryan.
