1 Ravens Player Takes Blame For Derrick Henry’s Touchdown
The Tennessee Titans continue to be a problem for the Baltimore Ravens.
Tennessee, which knocked Baltimore out of the playoffs in the Divisional Round last January, secured another win over the AFC rival on Sunday.
The Titans beat the Ravens, 30-24, on Sunday afternoon. Tennessee running back Derrick Henry scored the game-winning touchdown in overtime.
Henry took a handoff from Ryan Tannehill and broke several tackles on way to a game-winning score. Here’s the play:
While tackling Derrick Henry needs to be a team-wide effort, one Ravens veteran took the sole blame for the play.
Ravens 30-year-old defensive lineman Derek Wolfe said to put all of the blame on him following the loss.
“That’s on me,” Wolfe said following the loss. “Nobody else’s fault but mine.”
Ravens DE Derek Wolfe accepted responsibility for not making the tackle on Derrick Henry’s 29-yard winning TD.
“That’s on me,” Wolfe said. “Nobody else’s fault but mine.”
The 2020 season has been a frustrating one for the Ravens. Baltimore entered the season with Super Bowl expectations. That’s still an accomplishable goal, but the Ravens don’t look like a legitimate contender right now.
Baltimore is now 6-4 on the season following Sunday’s loss to Tennessee, which improved to 7-3.
The Ravens will be in a fight for a playoff spot at this point.

Former Alabama Heisman-winning running back, Derrick Henry had quite the last two seasons. In 2019, he was the NFL rushing yards leader, lead the league in touchdowns and was named to the Pro Bowl.
In today’s contest against the Baltimore Ravens, a rematch of the 2019 AFC Divisional playoff round, the Tennessee Titans relied on Henry to lead them to the win.
With the game tied at 24, the two teams went into overtime. Henry is apparently not a big fan of playing beyond four quarters, becaus he broke off on a 29-yard run for the game-winning touchdown.
Henry finished the day with 28 carries for 133 yards and the one touchdown, which just so happened to be touchdown No. 50 in his career.

This story was originally published on Ravens Wire.
The Baltimore Ravens announced on Monday that multiple people had tested positive for the coronavirus, causing the Under Armour Performance Center to be shut down. While no names have been officially released, Mike Garofolo of NFL Network said running backs Mark Ingram and J.K. Dobbins tested positive and will be going on the Reserve/COVID-19 list.
The Ravens have a deep running back stable, having entered the season with four players at the position. But losing two is still going to be extremely tough for Baltimore to deal with, especially on.
