The jackpot was an estimated $150 million with a cash option of $114.8 million, according to the Powerball website.

There was no overall winner so the jackpot will rise to $160 million with a cash option of $122.4 million for Saturday night’s drawing. Four tickets matched all five white balls, two in Colorado won $1 million each and two tickets in Georgia and Oregon had the Powerplay to take home $2 million.

There is a big change coming to the Powerball because of the coronavirus shutdown that has impact most of the country.

It was announced Wednesday that the new starting point for jackpots will be $20 million, down from $40 million, and the minimum increase between drawings will be $2 million, instead of $10 million. The changes take effect after the current jackpot is won.

Meanwhile, the Mega Millions jackpot rose to $107 million with a jackpot of $83.9, according to the Mega Millions website.

Until recently, lottery winners in New Jersey were required to be identified, but now winners will be able to stay anonymous under a new law that was signed by Gov. Phil Murphy.
