The Powerball® jackpot has soared to an estimated $620 million; $354.3 million cash value for the Wednesday, Oct. 24 drawing. This is the third largest Powerball jackpot in game history and the sixth largest jackpot in U.S. lottery history!

The Powerball jackpot was last hit in New York in the August 11 drawing. Since then, there have been 20 Powerball drawings in a row without a jackpot winner.

The winning numbers for the Saturday, Oct. 20 drawing were white balls 16, 54, 57, 62, 69, plus Powerball 23, and Power Play multiplier 2X.

While there were no jackpot winners, nine tickets matched all five white balls. Seven of those tickets won a $1 million prize. Those tickets were sold in Arizona, Connecticut, Indiana, Michigan, Missouri, New Jersey and Washington. The two other tickets, sold in Florida and Tennessee, doubled the prize to $2 million by including the Power Play® feature for an extra $1.

The jackpot was an estimated $102 million with a cash option of $80.7 million, according to the Powerball website.

There was no overall winner so the jackpot will rise to $116 million with a cash option of $89.5 million for Wednesday night’s drawing. Two ticket sold in California and Louisiana matched all five white balls to win $1 million.

Meanwhile, the Mega Millions jackpot was at $109 million with a cash option of $83.2 million, according to the Mega Millions website.

Until recently, lottery winners in New Jersey were required to be identified, but now winners will be able to stay anonymous under a new law that was signed by Gov. Phil Murphy.
