Millionaire

Millionaire is an exciting online lottery game that gives you the opportunity to play for huge cash prizes of up to ВЈ90 million. Winning numbers are drawn every Tuesday and Friday at 21:40 GMT and the cut-off for entries is 21:25 GMT on the night of each draw.

What is Millionaire?

In April 2018, regulation was introduced that prevents players in the UK from betting on the EuroMillions lottery, which is a fun, cost-effective way of playing. Millionaire was introduced as an alternative. It works in almost exactly the same way as EuroMillions, with the same number of balls to choose from, the same odds of winning, and the same starting jackpot.

The biggest difference is that the winning Millionaire numbers are taken from the Swiss Loto Express, which is a popular lottery in Switzerland and which is endorsed by the World Lottery Association. Entry costs ВЈ3 a line but the game will be recognisable to anyone who has played EuroMillions before: you pick five numbers between 1 and 50 and two star numbers between 1 and 12 and you win prizes for matching them with the numbers drawn.

How to Play

Millionaire is only available to play online. You can follow the steps below to be playing in minutes:

Pick five main numbers between 1 and 50 and two star numbers between 1 and 12

Choose whether you want to play for a single draw or take out a subscription You can subscribe on a monthly basis, which reduces entry prices from ВЈ3 to ВЈ2.70 a line

Add your betting slip to the cart and check out when you’re ready

Enter your personal and payment details to complete the transaction

Once you have entered Millionaire, your numbers will be stored safely in your online account and you will be notified via email if you win a prize. You can also view the latest results here after each draw.

Comparison between EuroMillions and Millionaire

Millionaire was designed to be a direct replacement for online EuroMillions betting, so the two games are identical in most respects. The odds of winning the jackpot are the same in both games, as are the overall odds of winning any prize. The table below shows how the two games match up:

The table below shows how much you can win by playing Millionaire, as well as the odds of winning a prize in each tier. The top three prizes are split evenly between every winner in that tier, whereas all other winners will receive the amount of money shown.

What is the difference between EuroMillions and Millionaire?

Millionaire is a game that allows players in the UK to bet on the outcome of a lottery, and it was introduced after new legislation prevented online betting on EuroMillions. The two games are not associated, although both are played in the same way and offer the same prizes and odds of winning.

The biggest difference between the two games is that the winning numbers for Millionaire are taken from Switzerland’s Swiss Loto Express. The maximum jackpots are also different: £90 million for Millionaire and £200 million for EuroMillions.

How do I buy tickets for Millionaire?

Millionaire can only be played online. Visit an online provider and register or sign in to your account to get started.

When do draws take place?

Winning Millionaire numbers are taken from Switzerland’s Swiss Loto Express, which is drawn at 21:40 GMT every Tuesday and Friday. The cut-off for Millionaire entries is 21:25 GMT on the night of each draw.

How are the winning numbers drawn?

Swiss Loto Express is played every five minutes, but the winning numbers for Millionaire are taken from the draw that is conducted at 21:40 GMT on Tuesdays and Fridays.

Twenty numbers between 1 and 80 are drawn. The first five between 1 and 50 that are drawn make up the five main numbers in the winning Millionaire line. If there are not enough numbers drawn to make up a full winning line, the remaining are taken from the next draw at 21:45 GMT, and so on until five valid numbers have been produced.

Once the five main Millionaire numbers have been determined, two star numbers between 1 and 12 are taken from the next Swiss Loto draw in the same way.

It is unlikely that more than two Swiss Loto Express draws will take place without producing a winning Millionaire line.

Where do I claim prizes?

The lottery provider will notify you of any wins via email. Prizes will be paid into your online account. In cases where you win a larger prize, such as the jackpot, the provider may contact you directly to begin the claim process.

What does ‘betting’ on a lottery mean?

Many online providers allow you to bet on the outcome of a lottery rather than buy a ticket for the lottery itself. Any prizes, including the jackpot, are then paid out by the online provider.

It is an easy and secure way of playing lotteries from around the world without having to travel to a participating country. It also means that you never need to worry about keeping a ticket safe, and you will also be notified of any prizes you win (if you opt in to receive prize notifications).

Bet on Millionaire every Tuesday and Friday for a chance to win the same great prizes as EuroMillions! Jackpots start from £14 million.
